As my good friend and colleague, Steve Murray, wrote:

I must say this is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen.  It makes you think…….what would you go through to make your child happy if in fact he/she was severely handicapped. If that is a lot, why wouldn’t you do it for him/her now that she isn’t handicapped? Tough questions.

Well said, Steve.  Every time I watch this video, I get tears in my eyes.  As the father of a healthy (thankfully) 1 year old, I find this example humbling and motivating at the same time.  Let us all learn from the Hoyt’s example.
